Sandra has a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor of Arts and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling. After working in the counselling and social work fields for several years, Sandra moved into the human resource sector focusing initially in the not for profit area. Sandra has been working in HR for the last ten years including spending two years as an in-house Senior Recruitment Consultant with Fonterra and has now established HR Connect as a leading HR consultancy supporting small and medium sized business to maximize their most valued asset - their staff.
Denise Thomas - HR Consultant (Waikato Region)
Denise Thomas is an HR Consultant with over 20 years experience in all aspects of the HR field.
Denise brings a wide range of skills gained in a range of roles including the Crown Research Institute and State Owned Enterprise environments. Able to 'change gears' quickly she is comfortable working at both the 'frontline' and corporate level.
Denise brings specialist strengths and expertise in the areas of change management, training and development, facilitation and leadership coaching with a view of partnering with business to empower people to deliver results.
Tarrin Terry - HR Consultant (Bay of Plenty region)
Tarrin has a Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons) in HR Management and Marketing from the University of Waikato and is our resident HR Consultant based in the Rotorua District. Tarrin has worked in a number of sectors both in New Zealand and in the UK, including forestry (Fletcher Challenge), local government and IT. In her last role in the U.K, Tarrin was Employment Relations Manager for Thomson Reuters, before returning home with her family to Rotorua. Tarrin brings a down to earth practical approach to her work, and is committed to providing a responsive and quality service to her clients.
Haitske has a Bachelor of Business Psychology from Massey University and is our resident HR Consultant based in the Auckland District. Prior to joining HR Connect, Haitske has had both general management and HR roles in a number of sectors both in New Zealand and the Netherlands, including logistics, legal, telecommunications and retail. She brings with her strong change management, project and business solution experience. The newest member to the HR Connect team, Haitske has more than 10 years HR, recruitment and management experience.
Pauline Sinel - HR Coordinator
Pauline has a Diploma in Business Management and a National Certificate in Business in which she majored in Accounting, Human Resources and Law. Her work experience has predominantly been in the Management Accounting field working with large organizations within the Electricity, Health, Dairy and Educational industries. Working for HR Connect since 2007,Pauline brings a fresh new perspective that is helping businesses implement sound human resource practises.
Justine Winter - HR Associate
Justine has extensive experience in the recruitment, selection, assessment and training fields. After completing a Master of Social Sciences in Industrial & Organisational Psychology, Justine joined Sheffield Limited in 1997, with whom she worked for 8 years, initially in recruitment and selection, expanding her skills into the assessment and development field. She is also a trained Facilitator and has experience delivering a broad range of workshops to organisations focusing on leadership development and customer service. Since 2005 Justine has worked as an independent contractor for a variety of consultancies interpreting psychometric assessments, recruitment and outplacement support. Justine is an experienced interpreter of psychometric profiles including SHL and Hogans tools. Justine has recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in the Practice of Psychology at the University of Waikato.
